When given an image and a written prompt, Backstory investigates whether an image was AI-generated, when and where it&#8217;s previously been used online, and whether it&#8217;s been digitally altered.\u00a0<\/p><p>The workshop, which caters to journalists and information literacy experts, will provide hands-on experience with the tool which is in trusted testing phase.\u00a0Participants are required to consent to the sharing of their email addresses for expression of interest purposes. This will offer one of the first opportunities to analyse the updated version of this highly practical document (the first iteration was published in 2022), which is aimed at teachers, librarians, and other educators operating in diverse learning contexts.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop will focus on the practical deployment of an activity from the Guidelines (related to AI, social media, and disinformation prevention), and will further analyse the applicability of the recommendations aimed at leaders and other educational agents, such as teaching staff and librarians. It also seeks to examine the content best suited not only to the Portuguese context but also to that of other nations represented at the event.
